My hard drive crashed and I lost my itunes library. I had most of it backed up on cdr's but there are like 50 or so songs that I don't have backed up. Is there a way to get those songs from the ipod straight to a cd so I don't lose them when I have to erase and sync my ipod? How to get non itunes songs back on my library?
there are a number of media programs that you could use to copy your files off of your ipod. I used to use ephpod, but from what I understand, there are others that do the job better. Just google "ipod backup" and look through the programs to find one that suits your needs best. How to get non itunes songs back on my library?
There is no way that I know of to do that. You would have to already have the files on your computer or CDs. I don't know if it completely wiped out your hard drive's memory or not, but if it didn't, go into your My Music folder under My Documents and drag the missing song's files into your iTunes library.
