How do you get music from a shared folder into your itunes library?

At school we have a shared internet connection and when my laptop is connected to it, some shared folders come up and I want to know how to get some of that person's music into my itunes libraryHow do you get music from a shared folder into your itunes library?

you have 2 options here... if you can access the music, try copying it onto your PC. If this isn't acceptable for you, select the music you want (one at a time, or in bulk) and drag it to your open iTunes window. it should add it, but will only be available to play while connected to that shared folder.

You'll need to open up iTunes, then go to File, and then click on Import. That will open up a box that allows you to search through folders on your computer. Find the folder (you said Shared Documents), find the music you are looking for, and then click on that music file. This will import that file into your iTunes Library, but a copy will still be in the original folder as well. Hope that helps! :)
