Is it legal to borrow music (Cds) from the library and burn it onto another cd?

I'm wondering because my library has CDs you can borrow.

I would also NOT intend to profit from it if borrowing Cds from the Library and burning it onto blank Cds is not illegal. I know profiting is and I do not intend to do so.Is it legal to borrow music (Cds) from the library and burn it onto another cd?
Yes it is illegal. Why would that be legal?
well hmm probably not but then why does windows media player give you the option:D haha all i know is that when i get a new cd, if my friend likes it i burn her a copy and she leaves with it in her hand... so whatever no one will find outIs it legal to borrow music (Cds) from the library and burn it onto another cd?
i don't know where my answer went to, but it is not illegal to do this as long as you don't profit......just like copying pages from a book....so i guess its ok to go read a book from the library even though the author doesn't get paid
no that is illegal and you can get a fine for it i think!

so i don't think you want to do that!!!!!Is it legal to borrow music (Cds) from the library and burn it onto another cd?
no its illegal

but people do it anyways, and you are not going to get caught

whether you choose to do it or not is your decision
yes, any copy of music without paying for it is illegal. but who cares. no one will catch u by copying cds. theres no record
yeah that's illegal.

if everyone did that then musicians wouldn't make any money.
yes it isillegal, please stop downloading musci so that artists, singers san make more money which means more songs for us to enjoy
you are not allowed to copy discs, that is illegal
It's still illegal but whatever. A lot of people do it.
it's illegal because you don't own the cds.

noo i think that is illegal!
