There are many programs that allow you to do this such as iDump.Just do a search for it.If you don't want to use any programs you can do it accessing the iPods hidden files.

Here's a tutorial on accessing the hidden files.

Only the iTunes purchased music can be transfered back. You will have to redownload the others from where you got them the first time to get those back. To put the purchased back sign in to your iTunes account. And plug the iPod into your computer. iTunes will ask if you want to transfer the PURCHASED music back. Click on yes.How do I put my songs back in my itunes library?
you have to have them saved on your computer. you can also search for them by going to start and click on search and typ in the song or album you want
wow.. that's hard. well ipods keep the music on there as long as you can. If you want to personally add each new song click it so you can manually do it.
