Someone please help me!! I have deleted my ipod so many times it is beginning to get very frustrating! I need to know how to add songs from my brothers itunes library to my ipod...without erasing every song I currently have on mine! I know to check manually manage songs, but then I'm not clear on how to actually put the new songs on my ipod without pushing the sync button, because then it tells me that it's gonna erase everything!! argh!! any advice will be appreciated! How do i add songs from someone elses itunes library without deleting my ipod?
You can add your brother's songs to your iTunes library so that you can syn whenever you wish to without losing anything.

Firstly, transfer all songs on your brother's iPod to your computer. You need to use an iPod-to-computer transfer program to help you. Tansee iPod Transfer is what I use. http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/Tanse鈥?/a>

When you plug your brother's iPod to the computer, this program could display all songs and videos on the iPod instantly. You simply select what you wish to transfer and click "Copy" button. Done. All the songs on his iPod will be copied to your computer completely and safely.

Secondly, add those songs to your iTunes library. It has step-by-step guide on how.

Then all songs would be on your iTunes library that you can syn to.

Hope it helps. Best luck!
