Do you buy a book or go to a library?

I getting books from the library because i think it's pity for your money + books are expensive too you read it once or twice and then it dissapear in your book cupboard.Do you buy a book or go to a library?
I do both. Our library isn't exactly well funded so sometimes it's hard to find books I want to read. If it's a book that I really want to read, especially if it's in a series, I'll usually buy it. I read and re-read my books so for me it's an investment. It's kind of like buying movies. I may not watch them all the time but if it's one I really like I'm going to buy it so I have it available when I want to watch later. Same with books.
well i first borrow it from the library and read it

and if i end up really loving the book, then i go to a bookstore to buy it so i can keep it foreverrDo you buy a book or go to a library?
I go to the library more often, but if I really liked the book that I just read, I'll go and purchase it at a book store.
I check out books from the library. If I really like it, and I want to reread it, I buy it.

I know this sounds funny, but once I read a book I really like, I don't like it when anyone else reads it. Like it has to be mine!! That's why I buy the ones that are special to me.Do you buy a book or go to a library?
I do both. I check out books in the library read em.. and buy them.. or I buy them first and I reread them later... I never have a book gather dust in my library.
well i love to buy them cause then yo can read them over and over when ever you want... but it gets really expensive so i started going to the library
I always go to the library. I only buy a book if it's part of a series I like. I own all the Harry Potter books, for example. Occasionally I'll ask for books as presents, like I own the first 3 Travelling Pants (which now I see I could have just gotten from the library...hehe) most of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books (worth reading again and again), but honestly I haven't bought a book in awhile. I'm kind of picky, so the library is the way to go!
both have their advantages. do whatever you like more!
Borrowing from the library would make more sense, but I rarely do. I think it's because a lot of the books smell like someone threw up in them. o__0 Plus, I just adore the feel and smell of a new book.
I usually go to the library, especially now in the time of internet. I can request a book from my library online and be one of the first to read it. It is cheap and easy. If I can't find it there, I will buy it off Amazon.

I used to be a mad crazy romance paperback book reader and I had about 25 boxes of them. My family used to make fun of how many I had so I got rid of them. I had a bunch that were out of print and I sold them on Amazon for many times the price I paid. I miss a few I used to reread all the time but for the most part, I prefer nonfiction now.
I know a great second hand book store where I buy books. I return them at half price after reading them. If I like it, I keep it. There are no good libraries.
i don't buy many new books. you can pick up good books cheaply at 2nd. hand shops and markets, and libraries will try to get you in books if you ask them, which i often do if i hear of a good book online
i buy all my books because i tend to go back and reread them at least once
Library- like someone said (thanks to the Internet) you can get anything you want from the library- they can order it for you. I also like waiting for books that I've requested- it gives me something to look forward to (I have no life, I know ;) and I appreciate it when it comes in. Finally, if I get a book I hate, I can just turn it in- no having to go to the store to return it, etc....
i work at a bookstore, so i usually either buy them or read them there or get free advanced read copies of new books and read those.
I prefer to buy a book rather than to borrow it from a library.

For two reasons: first, I wanna have my own "library" with all my favorites books. Second, I often lend books to friends and relatives, so I am building lots of good readers. =]
I usually buy my books online....like at Barns %26amp; Noble.....and Borders stuff like that....I don't usually don't go to the Library.....no time
BUY
